European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME President Elected Vice-President of the International Network for SMEs

Our President Prof. Dr. h.c. Mario Ohoven, also President of our German Member BVMW, was elected Vice-President of INSME, the International Network of SMEs, during their 15th General Assembly that took place on the 6th of June in Naples.

INSME is a legally recognized not-for-profit association working under the auspices of the OECD – Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. It gathers innovation and technology transfer stakeholders including governmental bodies, international organizations, NGOs, business support organizations, chambers of commerce on an international scale.

It is acts as a gateway to innovation good practices for the support of SMEs and entrepreneurship and a catalyst of information on opportunities, latest trends and insights on innovation, SMEs, technology transfer and entrepreneurship.

The association is a long-standing friend of CEA-PME and co-signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the European-African SME Alliance.

The assembly also confirmed Prof Sergio Arzeni as President and Mr Giovanni Zazzerini as Secretary General of the association for the next two years.
