Mr. Mario Ohoven

President of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME

Mario Ohoven is the president of the German Mittelstand Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (BVMW).

For over 30 years the trained banker is successful in the field of investment banking and asset managing. In leading positions he has been instrumental for the development of tax-optimized investments. His group of companies is amongst the market leaders in its field with a total investment of more than 4 billion Euro.
Mr Ohoven is the scion of one of the oldest German entrepreneurial families (hemp spinning and paper manufactory Ohoven) established in 1810.
He is known for his prognoses regarding economy and financial markets. In 2000 he warned about the decline of technology equities. 2001 he pointed out that certain US conglomerates are manipulating their balance sheets. In May 2007 he warned in detail about the fiasco of the financial markets. He is a respected keynote speaker of distinguished events and symposiums. His book “The Magic of Power-Selling” was a bestseller for over 3 years, is in its 13th edition and was translated in 9 languages.
Since 1997 President of the BVMW senate. Since 1998 President of BVMW, the most powerful of the non-statutory SMEs-associations. The BVMW represents over 270,000 enterprises with about 9 million employees. Since 2002 he is President of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME.

He is member of the Board of Trustees of the "Europa Union", German chapter of the Union of European Federalists.





Mr. Maurizio Casasco

Vice-President of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME

Maurizio Casasco leads since 2012 the CONFAPI national trade association of Small and medium-sized industries.

Contract Professor for sports medicine at the Universities of Milan and Pavia, as well as Owner and Manager of companies delivering medical analytics, health care services and producing medical technical devices.

Last but not least, he is member of the Italian Olympic Committee.

Ms. Valérie Guimard

Vice-President of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME

Valérie Guimard is the president of the Association Française de Dirigeants d’Entreprise en Europe – AFDEE (F), and CEO of the French IT company SI4YOU. With a four children family, she created her company in 2003.

Graduate Engineer, she is also associate professor in the engineers school of Polytech Grand Paris since 2008, as IT, team building and project management expert.

She is member of the French Women Engineers Association.

Last but not least, she is a member of the board of “Réseau Entreprendre 78”, an association mentoring new entrepreneurs.





Mr. Ullrich Hänchen

Treasurer of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME

Ullrich Hänchen has graduated in Economic Informatics and is a German Tax Consultant. He is associate partner of Wagemann + Partner Part GmbB (Berlin), acting also as an auditor.

He is also Vice-president of the Tax and Business Consultants Association IBWF Institut für Betriebsberatung, Wirtschaftsförderung und –forschung e.V..

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Reinhart

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Reinhart has covered different roles across his career:

2016 – today: Group chairman of the Christian Democratic Union in the State Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg.

2014 – 2016 Chief Executive Officer of the BVMW in Berlin

2005 – 2011 Minister for Federal Affairs of Baden-Wuerttemberg

2004 – 2005 State Secretary in the Ministry of Finance of Baden-Wuerttemberg

1992 - today Member of the State Parliament of Baden-Wuerttemberg


Mr. Walter Grupp

Secretary General, Co-Founder and Member of the Board of European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME

Walter Grupp is Lawyer, specialised in Fiscal law, and tax Consultant (IPC). Since 2004 he acts as Secretary General of CEA-PME. After his studies in Germany and France, he was trained at the E.C. in Luxembourg and at the World Bank in Washington D.C. Since 1987 he worked as Lawyer in Bruxelles, e.g. also for the German Embassy in Belgium, among others.

He was the founder and longtime owner of the Belgian companies InterGest (consulting and services for German companies in Belgium) and InterRecherche (acquisition and implementation of EU-funded projects).

He is since 2011 Senator of the European Economic Senate.
